The states included in the lawsuit are Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, etc. Furthermore, they have been accused of allowing minors to play despite the age restrictions. There are other similar cases, for example in 2018, when people sued the owner of Chumba Casino because of their inability to win as much as they are spending in the casino. Some people assert that players who lose money at games receive a guarantee of taking their lost money within a certain period. Many people state they played these social casino games and lost thousands of dollars. The class action lawsuit was filed on Sept.7, 2022, by Kentucky residents who spent at least $5 at Chumba Casino or Luckyland Slots within a 24- hour period between Maand March 17, 2022.
